A pendant originally from the Eastern Mediterranean, from Empúries (l'Escala, Alt Empordà) and dated to the 4th-3rd centuries BC. The pendant was made with glass paste with applied motifs. It is 2.3 cm in length by 1.9 cm in diameter. It represents a bearded man with curls and hair depicted in dark blue and also the eyebrows and eyes, which stand out from the white colour of the skin. The eyes are represented large and wide open, and are a characteristic feature of this type of pendant.
