The Deltebre I carried, in addition to ammunition, gunpowder to be able to use firearms. This was carried in wooden barrels with bronze hoops to differentiate them from ammunition. The hoops are engraved with the mark of an arrow indicating ownership of the British government. Two 2- and 4-ounce gunpowder meters with the same marking were also found.
