Altar decorated with bas-reliefs. Its frontispiece shows a veiled female figure holding an olive branch in her left hand. On the back of the altar, two cornucopias are interlaced on a patera, while on the sides appears a rudder of a boat and olive tree with a coiled snake. Traditionally it has been considered that the motifs would connect the altar with the cult of Asclepius and Salus, i.e., with rituals favourable to health. However, other hypotheses link the altar with the worship of the emperor.
